Welcome! The ADEPT Curricular Resource Binders (CRBs) are a physical binder that teachers who have taken any particular ADEPT course (Data Analysis, Modeling, Number Theory, Algebra, etc) receive after the course is over as a physical resource they can use. The main components of a CRB are:

• Some of the key activities and explorations from class (some can be used as-is in K-12 classes; others are not difficult to modify for use in K-12 classrooms)

• Some "Notes-for-the-Teacher" which summarize the intent of the activities/explorations, and/or some suggestions for the teacher on how to implement similar activities in their own K-12 classrooms. (See "Guide for Teacher" links in this CRB for the Math ADEPT Conceptual Algebra class)

• Copies of some other assignments from the ADEPT course, which best capture the spirit of the course (e.g. reflective assignments aimed at assisting the teacher in pedagogy, or in integrating content and pedagogy.

• Samples of one or more teachers' work from the ADEPT course may be included.

• Various resources, e.g. web pages, suggested books or articles, etc.

The physical CRB given to teachers who took the ADEPT course is a concrete, "take-it-with-you" resource and reminder of key learnings and material from their ADEPT coursework experience. The online version of the CRB contains either key highlights of the CRB (sometimes most/all of the CRB), and makes the materials more widely available (It is not a substitute for taking the ADEPT class however. CRBs contains only a portion of the material and hands-on pedagogy and content and manipulatives from the ADEPT class in question!)
